Happy Skin!Β

Hi there beauties! (Quick intro) In one of my previous posts, I mentioned sticking to a skincare routine. Skin care is so important, it is the very first step to a great makeup look! Your makeup starts, before the actual foundation, or even the primer. With that being said, I do have a special post coming up featuring some new Mary Kay skincare products along with some other exciting Mary Kay treats that I know you guys will adore.
I wanted to talk about skincare a bit more, but also about learning to love your skin even if it isn’t flawless naturally. I have combination skin, and what that means is that some places of my face are more acne prone, and I have dry patches in other parts of my face-mainly my cheeks. You could see how this can be very frustrating. However, part of learning to love your skin is to just accept it. You can use a lot of products to help whatever skin type you have, but you must be dedicated to giving your skin whatever love it needs. I’ve learned to accept my skin type as combination skin, and I’m figuring out how to take care of it from the inside out. But it’s up to you with YOUR skin to figure out what it needs. Vitamins? Night cream? Medication? It’s up to you to figure it out and help it along. Also, keep in mind to try and stay positive about the whole process to happy skin. Did you know that stress can cause horrible breakouts? It’s something to keep in mind so you don’t get into a cycle of stressing out and breaking out.

My favorite thing to both avoid the stress and take care of my skin? Do a relaxing, hot bath and a face mask. How do you relax and take care of your skin? 😘

How to Look Cute at the Gym!

image

Recently I have seen a lot of posts and articles stating that you, “do not need to look good for the gym”, or “it’s a workout, not a fashion show!”. This fashion blogger disagrees! What could be more fun than getting an awesome, butt-toning or ab workout on while and looking super cute at the same time? You can look cute and comfy as you burn calories, by wearing sports bras, leggings which come in a variety of colors and patterns, different tanks, sweats, and cute workout shirts and shorts as well. Here are some of my workout clothes:

A basic example of what I like to wear as I sweat it out. I am someone who is very confident in my body, so I enjoy wearing sports bras as I workout!

And here is my still small, but growing collection of various sports bras! If it’s chilly out, or I’m going to the store after I throw on a tank top or sweatshirt and I’m good to go!

Tell me in the comments, what’s your favorite workout outfit? 😊

What Did I Get for Christmas? πŸŽ„

This adorable Pandora bracelet from my boyfriend 😊❀
And finally, another bracelet that I had been asking for the Count Me Healthy bracelet, which can help you count various things such as golf strokes if you are a golfer like myself, it can also count water or snack intake, or whatever you choose to keep track of 😊 I selected the color rose gold for myself ❀
