Homecoming Prep!

It’s Fall, you know what that means. Pumpkin Spice Lattes, bonfires, cozy sweaters- and homecoming! Everyone loves a fun chance to dress up, but having a prep routine is essential for this special night with either a special someone, or amazing your squad!
For those who don’t, I’ll be giving an example of mine. You can totally copy off of my routine or mix and match various products to create your own. Either way you want to step out looking on point ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Okay, let’s start off with that beautiful smile ๐Ÿ˜Š
You want to have pearly whites, so I reccomend actually starting to use Crest 3D White Whitestrips a week, or just a few days in advance. Along with the strips, using Crest 3D White Luxe Multi-Care Whitening Rinse will boost the brightness, but don’t worry, chances are you’ll look a lot better than Ross (from Friends) did after he got his teeth whitened. After taking care of your teeth, you want to make sure your lips look good as well. Either take out your favorite ChapStick or check out Nivea Lip Butter’s Smooth Kiss. It does wonders! Any girl prepping for a big night knows that facials are a must. Of course, not everyone has the time or money to go out and get one done. My personal fave is this charcoal & black sugar mask by Freeman. I did one the day before my homecoming and my skin looked incredible! Plus it feels really good on and when applying it. Lastly we have deodorant. NO ONE wants to be dancing up a storm, and right in the middle start to smell. For this, I recommend any deodorants by the brand, Secret. They all work amazingly, just pick your favorite scent (:
After prep, you should be all clean and looking amazing for homecoming! Try listening to music while you prep for hair & makeup and make sure to have fun!

My Fashion/Get Ready Playlist!

We’ve all heard of workout playlists, but what about fashion playlists? When I’m getting ready in the mornings, I love having music to listen to as I put on my clothes, do my hair, makeup and whatever else I need to get done to look my best for my day! Here is my fashion playlist:

๐Ÿ’—Tonight I’m Getting Over You by Carly Rae Jepsen

๐Ÿ’—Reflection by Fifth Harmony

๐Ÿ’—Say My Name by Destiny’s Child

๐Ÿ’—Best Mistake by Ariana Grande

๐Ÿ’—Right There by Ariana Grande

๐Ÿ’—Sparks by Hillary Duff

๐Ÿ’—Supermodel by Jill Sobule (from Clueless!)

Little bit of a late outfit of the day, but just HAD to post because this one is adorbs! And one of my new faves (:

One of my mom’s fabulous friends, Kerri gave me some of the cutest clothes a couple of weeks ago! Including this dress (which is actually a long women’s shirt) from I.N.C. ๐Ÿ˜ I am in love! Paired it with my classic gray wedges from TOMS and headed out for some fun!

Scream Queens is to die for! (Like, Literally)

Just two weeks ago, fresh from the creators of American Horror Story and Glee, fans were graced with a new show just in time for Halloween- Scream Queens! So, while you may be asking yourself “What fresh hell is this?” As asked by Chanel No. 1 played by the always talented Emm Roberts, Fashionistas everywhere have been asking where they can get their hands on some of the amazing wardrobe pieces. Somewhat of a spoof of the movies, Scream Queens and the movie, Scary Movie, the new show also has quite a lot of similarities to the previous Netflix hit Gossip Girl just based off of the outfits. Maybe a mix between Gossip Girl and the 90’s hit Clueless, SQ is definitely not lacking in the fashion department as seen in these shots below. Do we have ourselves a new Blair Waldorf? Let me know what you think in the comments. Oh, and  check out Chanel’s closet- Totes to die for! (Literally)
